I hate rain delays..

Edited by Cubs Suck23

Wow, a bomb to center by AJP. Why in the world would you ever pitch him a first pitch fastball right down the plate?

Rain Delay.

And we're into rain delay.

On weather.com, it looks like only a 30 minute one at most. Looks clear after this little storm.

any idea of how long of a dealy, are they saying anything?

Ugh, this rain delay programming :puke

I wish they'd show the 04 highlight reel, that was pretty cool.

I think it's just one of those storms where the rain comes down hard for a little while but passes pretty quickly.

I would love it if they show some old playoffs games or Sox clinching games

game should start any time ladies and gents

it does look like the wind is moving north east, so all those small blobs coming from the south west of cleveland will probably need to pass first.

hi8is estimated delay time total: 35 minutes

estimated start time: 1:05

You notice that Hawk has ridden umpires much more this year? I agree that those Garland pitches were strikes but winning makes Hawk a little too pompous for my tastes. Also, saying Elarton had among the best stuff in baseball while with Houston is laughable.

have any of the experts given a predicted start time? im just a young man with a link to weather.com

any predicted start time aside from mine?

No, back when Elarton was healthy I think there were quite a few people who thought that of him. I know I was one of them. Elarton had some nasty stuff in his early years.

Arm injuries got the best of him though.

Indians announcers said they'd be back in half an hour with an update and that was 23 minutes ago.

Rain Rain go away, White Sox want a sweep today.

It still looks like it's coming down hard there but the rain always looks worse on tv.

Dolgin said baseball right after the top of the hour.

I just hope its not too long. Cause than it puts the pitcher in an awkard position. Either he has to go after being sat for a while or you really beat up your bullpen.

Dolgin just retracted his statement, now not after the top of the hour. Thanks, Dolgin.

Yeah but among the best in baseball would imply top 10-15 and for a guy who had a high era, walked guys, gave up a ton of hits, and didn't strike guys out-how good could his stuff have been?

damn im good =) almost to the minute =P

When Elarton was in the bullpen with the Astros, he was awesome. He looked better than Oswalt did when Oswalt pitched out of their pen. We're in a bad situation if this rains lasts too long. No reason to risk putting Garland back into the game.

So have they announced a start time?
