I am trying to convice my buddy with whom I sit.

The problem is that he has used all his change dates, so he would be buying an extra ticket.

FYI: I received my tickets in the mail today. I ordered them on the 28th, so those of you who ordered early can probably expect them soon.

Just put my order in today. Don't really know anybody, but since we're all die hard Sox fans, I'm sure we'll have something in common to yak about. Looking forward to the game.

I'm digging the light blue and hot pink sox logo on the order form... New jersey colors for next year?

Gonna have to give Brooks and his marketing team a thumbs down here. How in the hell can they schedule this on a school night?

 

Attendance is fine, the last thing they should be worrying about is boosting attendance for a stupid game against Kansas City.

I do find it hard to believe the Tiger series the weekend before couldn't accomodate a group this large.

 

Just everyone take a chill pill, you act like everything Brooks does is perfect. IMO he (or whoever coordinated this) screwed up big time cause not every kid can take the day off of school for a baseball game.

What time do you go to sleep on a given school night? I've had no problem over my 18 years of going to Sox games, going to a 7:05 game and waking up plenty rested the next morning for school. I usually would get home around 11:15 and I'm up at 5:45 every morning. Maybe you should push your bedtime back past 9 o'clock for one day.

 

Oh yeah and I'm having a hard time finding something that Brooks has sqrewed up since he's been with the Sox.

You do.. did you happen to see the attendance for the last Tigers series... let me refresh your memory... near sold out. They blocked 500 LOWER DECK TICKETS for this. That is almost 2 ENTIRE outfield sections. And if that doesn't satisfy ya.. take a look on TM or call the Sox and check the avaliability of WEEKEND LOWER DECK tickets the rest of the season... they are over 90% capasity for EVERY weekend game and over 70% on most other days.

 

And no.. nothing everyone does is perfect.. but they came to us and OFFERED to do something nice. Did they have to.. no. Sorry you can't go, but there's no reason to be an unapreciative jerk about it.

And...the fact they are making pay for it sucks too!!!

Plus we don't get to sit in the dugout with the team. Add to the fact, they might lose that game..they should only send us to games that they have won in advance.

Got a question about the orderr form. I already sent it in, but on the form it states that everyone can meet in the patio area 2 hours before the game. Is there another way in that I am not aware of? The gates open up 1 1/2 hours before the game, not 2 hours as the form states.

Correct me if I'm wrong, (I've never been in that eclosed box they call the patio area) but don't you have to enter through the Bullpen sports bar? Wouldn't you have to be 21 to attend this portion of the festivities?

No you can get in there from an underground tunnel-type-thing. That's where the garage sale is located usually and you do not have to go the the BP sports bar.

It's actually a 2 hour party...

 

Starts at 5:30 and ends at 7:30.

I already have tickets to the game but plan on hitting up the patio party for some serious arguments, and beers. I owe/am owed several that I know of.
