1 down, 1 to go

how was that a strike?

Now that the runner is on third, no chance he gets a hit!

f*** YOU KONERKO

weakly to SS, f***

QUOTE(Brian @ Aug 4, 2005 -> 02:12 AM)
I predict Paulie will ground weakly to SS, put his head down and job to first as Everett is forced at 2B. Hope I'm wrong.

I was kind of right.

still a horrible coaching move. Paulie has hit most of his HR's against RH pitchers, and has a much better avg.

f***ing awful job by PK. He had to know a slider was coming, and he tried to pull it. This has been just a terrible offensive game by the Sox. What a shock, we can only score with a long ball!

Well he's responsible for over half of our runs tonight. Somebody else needs to step up at some point.

That guy is pretty dominant against righties. Walker had just walked two batters, and was hanging his slider this inning.

No one else has had a golden chance with 2nd and 3rd in a 1 run game.

Konerko is clutch again.

Take your long term contract and your bad BA with RISP and find another sucker to pay you 10 million a year.

PK = Mets in 2006

Does anyone here have faith in any of our pinch-hitters on the bench?

Uhhh....we are like 0-11 with RISP. wtf are you talking about. Everybody's had a chance.

Couldn't get Gooch in from 3rd with 1 out earlier, and now this. But hey, 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

Sadly, I have more faith in Timo than anyone else. We know he'll be the first one used anyways.

With 2nd and 3rd in a 1 run game? Konerko is paid huge bucks to drive in runs, something that he f***ing blows horribly at.

He has more LOB than anyone on the team tonight.

While the media is on to smart ball, I feel we have become much more dependant on the long ball. Any stat people able to give percantage of runs via long ball over the months?
