Marte has the most misleading ERA in baseball. If the defense didn't make extremely tough plays for him, or he didn't have better relievers coming in to clean up his messes, his ERA would probably be in the 5's.

there are still 2 1/3 innings left, the sox would have already used 3 bullpen guys, not to mention if the sox went to extra innings.
