Jenks has better splits against leftys.

Funny, I've yet to see anyone bit their tongue when it comes to critcising any of our players on here.

 

Refer to the thousands upon thousands of posts that criticize and bash the team after a loss...or close win...or bad play...or bad quote...or new hairstyle...etc...

 

It's entirely different when you generalize and say "CREDE f***ING SUCKS" following a defense play, compared to me stating my reasons for being disappointed in Buehlre. Which, as I've stated several times, doesn't shed doubt on his season or his talent.

Nevermind that Cliff hasn't been as solid as of late, Dustin has a bad back, or that all 3 have been worked fairly heavily...

 

I meant in general. Go look at some of the high earned run totals our stating pitchers have given up recently. Ozzie is leaving them out on the mound until seemingly no more damage can be done. If anything, he should be trying to ease up on the innings our starting pitchers are going right now.

Just leave Jenks in....the value from this experience will be more important than what happens this inning.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzie put Jenks in more for a 'tryout' so to speak to see if he can fit in as a closer during pressure situations and if he can be counted on with pressure on the road in the playoffs

I didn't read the article, but wasn't it just the SunTimes writer who suggested that Jenks close? Ozzie has used Politte and Marte when not using Hermanson this year
