Ozzie and KW are responsible for what's in our stable right now.  Just look at what guys like Francoeur have done for the Braves this year.  Why not allow Brian Anderson the chance to contribute to the MLB team.  We desperately need some right handed power off of the bench.

 

Dude .. I was gonna post the same thing, but decided not to. Braves have 11 rookies on the team. 4 on Offense that are every day players... they produce given the chance. Sox are always gun shy on bringing prospects to the majors , unless they are on fire in the Minors. Great point Fathom

Haha, why the hell did Garland start this inning? Even DJ is criticizing Ozzie now. Especially considering our lead in the division, Ozzie really needs to have better decision making on when to pull his starters. What could possibly have been accomplished by letting Garland start that inning?

Dont worry, at soxfest KW promised that the money we didnt spend in FA over the winter would be like money saved so we can make the big trade for the stretch run.

It was after AJ, before Iguchi. KW tried to get some guys at the deadline. He found out nobody is inclined to help the team with the best record unless they want to pay a ridiculous price.

Hey isn't it true if you call up a guy after Sept 1 vs. before Sept. 1, it doesn't count as a year against their service time? Does anyone think that maybe that's why Brian Anderson isn't up here yet? Any takers?
