How come our minor leaguers don't come up and tear up the majors for their first couple of weeks like the Twins players always do.

Give 'em a thrill Timo!

He's slightly overdue....

Yuck. I'm not sure Anderson could hit a ball well against Radke if he faced him 10 times. Not bashing Anderson at all. Just not a good pitcher to face in your first game.

Cause we absolutely suck at developing minor league players into MLB ready players.

Timo's batting average is 217 points higher than Anderson's.

Tough inning for Garcia here.

Can someone with TV coverage tell me how Anderson has looked?

Let's just put it this way...be glad you don't have TV Coverage.. :D :gosoxretro:

You mean like Justin Morneau, Michael Ryan, and Jason Bartlett?

First AB was worked over by Radke on several changeups and struckout. Second AB

made contact, advanced Uribe into second, but was thrown out at 1st.

As much as I hate to, I'm gonna have to agree. I can't remember the last minor leaguer to come up and do anything of worth. Except for Jaime Burke. I guess the last one would be Burly.

Morneau and Ryan were big time contributors when they were first called up. Morneau will be a guaranteed 30 homer per year player during his career.

And Dustin Mohr, Jason Kubel, Terry Tiffee, Baker, etc. etc. I was talking about their first couple of weeks to a month.

I believe Morneau had a great 1/2 year last year, to the point that they traded Mientkewicz because of him.

Had him down 0-2, and then walks him. Keep the ball in the park....please! I hope whoever bashed Morneau didn't jinx us.

Those are averages of .246, .183, and .237 this season...

But yeah they do nothing but make sucessfull major leaguers over there.

Who the f*** cares about the first week. Robin Ventura was 0-41. So what?

Congrats asshole!

You called it.

Garcia pitches like a pussy to Mauer, and pays for it. 4 game losing streak, here we come!

Well, at least I won't miss the new World Series of Poker episode.

How long will Ozzie let Garcia go tonight? I'm guessing 7 innings and 14 hits.
