Probably some effects from his injury.  I hope they DL him before he injures his back more.  Our most valuable players are hurt right now and we need them healthy.

A bad back doesn't cause you to have bad pitch selection. If you're going to let someone beat you, you must make them hit the outside pitch. I still wish the splitter was thrown with 2 strikes.

I still have a great feeling about this game. I have ever since Morneau hit that home run, if you believe me which you probably won't. I just thought it would wake the offense up.

Hope your right... would be nice for Anderson to knock in the winner.

leave it to the Twins to give Hermanson a blown save. I just have a feeling the Twins are gonna win this one.

What's the chances we hit a deep fly ball that is caught at the fence?

Jeez woudnt it be awesome if anderson walks off in his first career game?

Well...It's time for some of Joe for 4's patented heroics.

We need to play for today, not tomorrow.

We need to think about the playoffs and what our team will be like if Pods and Hermy are injured.

Crede wanted that pitch.

How bout Brian Anderson with a walk off homer?

Or....

Crede is just an absolute disgrace at the plate. Has he made like 4 outs on 5 pitches tonight? He's dropping his back so bad right now.

Is this the part of the game where the Sox batters swing for the fences until they get a home run?

2 hitters .. 2 pitches ?

what was that, a 1 minute inning?

Check that 4 pitches 3 outs.

Thats every inning

Boy that Crede is the best pop up man I've ever seen

Is there any player who you are on and off the bandwagon so quickily than Joe Crede?

Nice. And now Blum hits 4th next inning.

sometimes, or in some cases (like yesterday), that happens for 9 innings.

No, we have to win games. You don't make the playoffs by not winning games. Since when was the division decided in mid August?

4 pitch inning. GMAFB. Our offense sucks and we are desperate right now to get runners on base.

Pathetic inning.

Anyone notice Joe Crede has looked for a first pitch fastball in two straight AB's, hit it, and recorded two flyouts? He needs bench time because his plate approach is terrible of late.

I was thinking about that, but since he made the nice play, I figured I'd just shut up.
