August 30, 200520 yr This guys stats are solid and the way double-a call-ups have been going this year I think we could see him on the team, what do you guys think?
August 30, 200520 yr This ain't spring training. We don't need to conduct any experiments with minor leaguers.
August 30, 200520 yr Owens is our next lead off hitter though. Ihave faith in his ability to get on base and slap some singles. The serious base stealing will come with time. Young is our next real star I believe, but I still dont think he is ready this year.
August 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 30, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) Leo Daigle. I hear he's good. Scott Bikowski led the AA Southern League in batting average 3 years ago. What about him?
August 30, 200520 yr Author Guys, it's nothing to make fun of, I'm asking people for their opinions what were Braves fans saying about Jeff Francouer, well, the same thing you guys are doing to these players. So, if someone throws an idea out and you bash it, it brings a certain negativity to this site, and will draw people away. Edited August 30, 200520 yr by Tadahito Iguchi
August 30, 200520 yr I don't remember where I saw it, but they said that no one from AA is coming up this year.

We have one spot open right now and it will not be filled by a AA OF. If we need an OF it will be Brian Anderson who is already on the 40 man and much further along in his development. Now is not the time to be throwing AA rookies out there and see if they can do something. The Braves lost both of their corner OFers this year so they had to revert to their minors and struck gold in Franceour and Kelly Johnson. The White Sox situation is much less dire, you won't be seeing any of these guys. Edited August 30, 200520 yr by Kalapse
