The thing I do right now to relax is remember when Hawk said Jay Mariotti and this other guy from Texas are quote "Hinnie Birds". Pretty funny stuff. :)

Who saw that coming. :headshake

Could someone make a banner like Gene Honda Civics banner with Buerhle and "where would he play"

But With Ozzie Gullien's face saying "What Would Ozzie Do"

I would actually buy a shirt like that

I still question why El Duque was left in to start the sixth, but this game is officially off of Ozzie's shoulders.  Just bad pitching and no offense.  One more day until September.  Hopefully we can put August behind us and get back to our winning ways.

I don't have a problem with Duque starting the 6th. However, he should have been pulled after Young's homer. With our offense, there's a HUGE difference between being down 1 and being down 4 or 5. It just makes me so mad when Ozzie seems to try to milk his pitcher as long as possible, and frequently leaves his pitcher in way too long.

ozzie needed to have someone warming up the entire inning. dont forget the HBP and youngs homer happened in a span of 2 pitches, so nobody was even close to being warm

My White Sox. What has happened to my White Sox? :huh :melt

Well we dropped 3 out of 4.

Our top 3 pitchers got destroyed. Our offense came alive for 2 games. Ozzie making sunday lineups on a Wednesday. Timo is leading off again. Carl not being good enough to pinch hit for Timo with men on. Vizcaino pitching like he did earlier.

I see a lot to be positive about.

Let's pray we turn it around at home.

But we beat up on a pitcher making his MLB debut! That means our offense is back.

I am at work and can't see the game. Tell me, what is Hawk's mood right now? What is he saying?

12-16 for the month of august....yikes.

Mercifully, August comes to a close. So long summer, you've been good to us.

April = 17-7 (.708)

May = 18-10 (.642)

June = 18-7 (.720)

July = 15-11 (.576)

August = 12-16 (.429)

September = ?

I'll take one bad month out of 6.

absolutely pathetic games in texas..

Truely sad.. I hope we can keep in the lead ..because it would be a damn shame not to win thie division.

Hope others do. Would be fun to fill that mofo up.

And that's a Royals WINNER!

Best decision of the day: Not cutting out of work to watch Sox on ESPN.

Only positive thing I could say is the Rangers have done this to other teams as well at their place and that's with the Sox giving them the first two games on silver platters....This homestand starting tomorrow is crucial and the Sox must revert back to the blueprint of Apr, May, June and July and the start of the roadtrip....Sept starts tomorrow so enuff of the resting the starters s*** till the division is clinched....

Thanks for the invite. I'm in.

Good news for me is that I got Michael Young on my fantasy roster but I would rather take an 0 for with a White Sox Winner. I guess all I can say is get them tomarrow. :gosox3:
