Somebody mentioned it earlier but this has been as spot on as Hawk has been in awhile.  Good criticism when needed and actually good commentating.  When did Hawk become a real broadcaster?

He's a better broadcaster than a lot of his critics give him credit for. He's one of the best in the league. If you need proof, pick up the DirecTV package. Seriously. It's at least interesting with him, entertaining.

Indians are up 3-1, one out in the top of the 8th. Even Scott Elarton is shutting down teams now. They're having an unbelievable run of great starting pitching.

Jones and Hunter seem absolutely giddy on the bench.  The Twins are definitely playing loose tonight.

Make no mistake about it. The Twins know they aren't going to the playoffs.

 

They HATE the White Sox. This is their playoffs. They even adjusted their rotation. We were going to miss Santana alltogether, but now we'll see him twice in the next 7 games.

Horrible jump by Pods. Has been thrown out 22 times now.

What an absolute joke. Pods might as well be on the bench now, he's making an out on the bases everytime he gets on base. Here's an idea.....if he's in such a slump on the bases, DONT SEND HIM!

Why do they continue to have Pods run into outs? Either he is hurt or has lost it. Its an upset if he steals anymore. Give up straight stealing him, its giving away outs, something the White Sox cannot afford to do.

It starts with the Sox. Good defense is just another obstacle they have to overcome. KC played some real poor defense in the last series, but we just made stupider decisions and played even worse defense.
