Yeah, Vasher just got his second pick of the game. It would be his 4th of the year if it wasn't for Mike Green.

Haha, great answer. Go back and look earlier in this thread when I asked if you would have ever imagined having more fun watching the Bears play today than a stretch run game vs the Twins?

Schoeny gets out of a big spot in the 8th. 5-4 Jays.

Excitement? I've been to circumcisions that were more entertaining.

He's rebounded to have a solid season. He started off awful.

excitement as in, every inning means something big for this team, etc.

There's your walk 45.

It's not too exciting when your offense can barely score 2 runs a game.

I know, I'm just giving you a hard time. In theory, every game should matter. However, when I see things like Ozzie tipping his cap to Santana, it makes me feel like there's no sense of urgency.

CONTRERAS

way to step up big, unlike your teammates.

way to go big fella.

Come on, Sox, one run. This game is huge, especially if Batista can hold the Yanks scoreless in the ninth...

I like seeing someone else with the perception that the Yankees results are just as important as the Indians results now. The Yanks have won a few games this week where I really thought they were going to lose the game.

honestly, monday-wednesday is round 1 of the playoffs. We haven't had a big series like this since the one against the twins in sept of 03.

Unless Boston comes back from 12 down, the AL central will have the top 2 records in the AL.

any smart sox fan knows what the yankee game means to this team right now. Wildcard or division, playoffs are playoffs.
