Marte had 2 strikes on Hafner. With the shadows and all, maybe elevating the fastball and going up and in would of done it.

Cliff Politte has come into his own this year. He has blown a couple as sometimes he can give up that long ball, but overall he has been real good. This off season what we need is a real closer. Jenks and Politte and Cotts as set up guys and then to somebody that converts.

They can pitch tomorrow... they do have an off day before we play our series.

Ya, it'd be nice though to give everyone important tomorrow off and go from there. Hell..just let viz and damaso pitch tomorrow again.
