October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:45 PM) well i woulda said the same thing but... if you're a season ticket holder you're die hard... and if you're die hard why the f*** arent you going to the WS? How do yo think brokers get tix? They buy season tix and sell all of them.
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:45 PM) well i woulda said the same thing but... if you're a season ticket holder you're die hard... and if you're die hard why the f*** arent you going to the WS? Some are brokers, and some are folks who bought tickets to all 4 games and are selling 1 game to try to recoop some of the cost. It's $1500 for 2 tickets to each game in the LD.. that's a lot of scratch for most folks.

October 6, 200520 yr Well...the good news for me thus far is that on Ebay, a single ticket for an Angels ALCS game is going for less than $100. Man...if we win 1 more game I'm snapping one of those up.
October 6, 200520 yr It's so frustrating that I wasnt able to get tix. I tried for the ALDS and today at 12 but just could not get any.
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(BDavisFutureHOF @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:14 PM) Hey guys -- quick heads up -- you can go to www.theticketreserve.com and buy options on games Generally much cheaper than a broker and places like stubhub. I got tickets to all 3 Bulls home playoff games there last year for 15 over face value each -- take a look. hey, dont tell anyone about my secret ticket place

October 6, 200520 yr FYI: I just called the box office to verify whether I can pick up the ALCS willcall tickets during business hours on any day. The lady stated that willcall for ALCS can be picked up only on the 7th, 8th and 10th from 10am - 9pm.

October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 02:01 PM) Darn it Los...stop being so smart... So you get tix to any of the games? You did seem awfully worried about it earlier this morning. I have no tickets. I hope I'll come across an extra somewhere. Otherwise, I'll have to go through a broker. I spent zero money on tix during the season, so I can splurge a little bit now.
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 02:31 PM) would u sell WS tix? hahahaha, busted. No f-ing way
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) hahahaha, busted. No f-ing way exactly thats what i was talkin about. god that would be amazing....
October 6, 200520 yr I am so pissed off. The first day ALDS ticks went on sale I went on right at 12 to get.....nothing. The first day to get ALCS tickets comes, I get on again at 12 and get.....nothing. A big f*** YOU goes out to Ticketmaster.
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(RockRaines @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:18 PM) hey, dont tell anyone about my secret ticket place Wait, let me get this straight...I can buy two "fan forwards" which aren't even TICKETS for $1100? That's what they're offering me?
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 03:36 PM) Wait, let me get this straight...I can buy two "fan forwards" which aren't even TICKETS for $1100? That's what they're offering me? yeah dude, dont do that. Its all about timing and contacts.
October 6, 200520 yr QUOTE(Reddy @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 03:20 PM) exactly thats what i was talkin about. god that would be amazing.... I agree. Even though you could profit enormously, especially from my 10th tow tix I wouldnt miss that for the world.

October 6, 200520 yr You might want to check out Craig's list. Some of the asking prices are not as outrageous. By the way, most sellers will not split a pair of tickets. If anyone here is thinking about going through a broker and needs another buyer, PM me, http://chicago.craigslist.org/cgi-bin/sear...=min&maxAsk=max Edited October 6, 200520 yr by LosMediasBlancas

Man...if we win 1 more game I'm snapping one of those up. I'm pulling for the Angels. If so I can comfortably sit in my seats in Anaheim, LOL. I'm gonna be going ape s*** if another release gets scheduled for US Cellular though (not willing to say what the release is for yet). Come on White Sox..lets win one more in Boston and than move on to the next round

If anyone here is thinking about going through a broker and needs another buyer, PM me, http://chicago.craigslist.org/cgi-bin/sear...=min&maxAsk=max It's disgusting to see guys sell upper deck tickets(528) for $300 each. That's beyond scalping. It's also sad to see Cub fans getting their hands on tickets and literally saying, "I'm going to make you bend over backwards to get them."
October 7, 200520 yr you should have to put a name on each of the tickets and show up to the park with an ID that matches your ticket less brokers or assholes looking to get rich will buy tickets then
October 7, 200520 yr If you want to buy tickets for that series after the ALCS and you have some dough, you could look at realgmtix.com. They also got tickets available for those who might want to go to Fenway.
