October 11, 200520 yr QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 11:51 AM) Just for tonight, those at USCF should adopt the Blackhawk Anthem introduction. That would really f*** up Fox's hopeful cuddily east coast viewing audience. Welcome to the Southside. Let it chew you up and spit you out. I love the spine tingling feeling that you get at a fullhouse Hawks game during the national anthem. I only wish I could experience that with 40,000 Sox fans.

October 11, 200520 yr Let's see if we can everyone into their seats before the intors. My sources confirm that David Yow will sing the anthem tonight. I'll be there belting it out.

I can appreciate it, I've seen his band several times back in "the day".

Glad it wasn't toally lost TC. Someone said they saw him at a show in LA recently. Apparently, he's still a trainwreck, he's been in my head ever since.
October 11, 200520 yr QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 11, 2005 -> 11:44 AM) The NHL All Star game at the start of Gulf War I ... Spine tingling. National Anthem at Chicago Stadium in 1991.
October 11, 200520 yr I was lucky enough to be working the final Blackhawks regular season and playoff games at Chicago Stadium. It was soooo loud, the noise didn't even sound like cheering anymore...it was just static. And yes, I started crying. Both times. And just did again...thanks ChiSoxFan.
