I still think he should've came home instead of trying to get a double play they had no shot at in the 3rd inning. But besides that. he was outstanding. He gave the team every oppurtunity to get back in the game. That split was making some damn good hitters look like little leaguers.

No doubt he should have won but the offense did not execute.

:cheers to Jose!

Disagree. Back to the pitcher is a double play.

If you look, Iguchi doesn't protect himself by using the bag. As a result, he gets his leg taken out, and that was the reason for the errant throw. If he has proper mechanics on turning the DP, he's out at first.

We make one of 2 plays that inning, the other being crede's 'hold', we are still playing.

Congratulations, Jose.

Sorry everyone else let you down.

His play was ten times easier than crede's play when he could have gone home. If people really want to say the game should have been tied because crede should have gone home they are delusional. In all reality contreras f***ed himself over on that play.

To bad the offense can't get the loss instead of Contreras.

I don't think the ball was hit hard enough. And Vlad runs pretty well. At best, it would've been very, very close, even if Tad gets a perfect throw off.

I just think Iguchi turned it into a tougher play than it really was by having poor mechanics around the bag. I think he's out at first, but who knows i guess.

Kennedy was half way once the ball was contreras's glove. You have to go home with it especially considering the two runners that you are trying to double up have above average speed.

He's awesome.

props to the Count

how was Iguchi's throw not counted an error?

I say it would have been tied had Crede gone directly to first base. There would have been two outs and if Contreras retires Guerrero the inning is over and the Angels would have had just one run.

ah right

JC continues to roll we will need him again this series and I like Sox chances.

He was phenomenal again.

Good job; lets kick ass tomorrow. We need to show some balls cause the Angels will be loose again in Game Two since they have first service break.
