These guys can defend, plain and simple. Sure you can say Wisky is missing shots, but look at some of the shots we've forced them to take. This defense with our starters in is superb.

 

Let's play another 20 solid minutes of ball and take hold of 1st outright.

no doubt. randle is the man so far. getting to the second half in good foul situation is so key. you can see his confidence growing.

 

bo will have them ready to roll though. this second half should be a war.

I would say to watch them get it down to Tucker as much as possible with kickouts to Kammron Taylor, as he can heat up in a hurry. I would say McBride is still the X factor, he HAS to keep hitting those outside shots for us to win. And come on Pruitt, I know you have better post moves that what you showed in the first half.

UConn up 43-34 over Pitt at home at the end of the first half.

I got to agree, James has NBA 1st round talent. There aren't many 6-10 players that are that athetic with that kind of shooting ability. He also is strong enough to bang inside, rebound successfully and play solid D. However, James is a very smart guy, but a lot of times he loses concentration and focus and makes stupid fouls. I still think he gets taken in the late-first to early-second. ILL-INI up 12.

Bo Ryan's eye balls are going to pop out of his head one of these times. Geez.

Freaking great win! I havnt felt this satisfied since game 4 of the WS. Randle with huge rebounds/tip ins the whole game. If only he could stay out of foul trouble.

no huge game from dee or augie. down 11 points early. trailing huge in the free throw category yet still coming out with a big-time win at one of the big ten's toughest venues.

Georgetown up 23-9 with 8 left in the first half.

 

I really wish this UConn game was on TV. 45-43 UConn, 16 minutes left.
