wouldn't have mattered. He'd have been out at second if he were running

Depends on who would have covered second. If their 2b did, then Uribe would be on 3rd.

maybe you are right

Nice

Pass ball, podsednik into second with two outs and iguchi up.

Your due Gooch

I do think with the lefty batting though that the SS would cover

Maybe when you could score more runs and have a bigger lead?  Are you seriously asking this question?

I dont like it when people b**** about how bad the offense is doing while we are winning.

If we are losing, its a different story, but we are winning, so get over it.

Two nasty pitches in a row.

Yeah, I feel a lot safer with a 1 run lead than a 2 or 3 run lead.

Iguchi's not even f***ing close to getting a hit. He's flying open so fast, and every swing is way off.

A lead's a lead.

Most definitely do not like it.

What i do not like even more is iguchi being a f*** hole int he line-up. At this point uribe and him have to be switched. Uribe is our best two hitter on this team right now.

Iguchi is lost up there. He looks like Crede did in July and August. Can we get a rally Iguchi??

When you have a golden opportunity like the Sox did in the 5th to get some breathing room, you need to cash in on it. It's a one run game, and one swing of the bat obviously can tie it or put the Astros in front. If the Sox were to lose this game, pundits will definitely talk about the Sox poor ABs with RISP.

6 LOB is not that bad. Its a normal number Fox

The guy walked 5 batters. Scoring on only a Solo HR is pitiful.

Most definitely do not like it.

Minus that huge homerun against Boston, he has looked terribly overmatched all postseason.

I wouldn't say i feel safer, but it does seem like we pitch a lot better w/ only a 1 run lead. Could be because the opposition are all trying to go yard to tie it. Or......Are pitcher's are Focusing alot more. Probably both

qwerty, I think you stick with Iguchi. He shoudl come around. I would have watned to pull the plug on JD where he was but he came up big. I think Iguchi will snap out of it soon.

f***....he's turned into an automatic out. I'd almost think about sitting his ass for a game. When Oz has done that...he comes back strong.

We didn't pitch better with a one-run lead in the 2nd inning.

If we lose, or lose the lead, then alright, I'll understand people b****ing about it. But again, we are winning ffs..

If he absolutely sucks again tomorrow, I'd consider playing Harris vs Oswalt.
