Ball his is bat, UMP ruled it hit him and warded him 1st base.

Dye tried to dodge an inside 3-2 fastball and it grazed the back of his bat. It was hard to tell and the ump thought it hit Dye's arm and gave him first base.

The AJ play in Game 2 of the ALCS was a non factor when the Sox took the next 3 in Anaheim. Houston also had a couple of calls go their way in the NLCS.
