You put your players in the best chance to succeed. Everyone in the world knew that Rowand hd no chance vs Lidge. As for the Hermanson debacle, that might be the most gutless move I've seen by a manager. Was Ozzie worried that Jenks gave up runs last game? Hermanson has nothing left...it's been obvious for a few months. Jenks made Lane look foolish in the first two games with FASTBALLS! Thus, we bring in someone who just throws junk.
