Doesn't Iguchi live in Schaumburg?

Yes, yes he does. He's been in the Schaumburg Best Buy on Golf road a few times.

For those of us without a TV, what was the premise of the sketch?

You're better off not knowing.

It really wasn't worth it, was it?

Well considering I watched a f***in hour worth of the worst show I've ever seen in my life...no it wasn't. It was cool seeing him on there though, to bad they made him say that s***ty cursed line.

Basically, they had the two girls who do weekend update on. They're from Chicago and claimed to be Sox fans for their whole lives despite being from the Northside, one of them is from Evanston and the other from Wrigleyville. They claimed to get their meat at Moo & Oink, know people from the Robert Taylor Homes and catch the redline to pass by U.S. Cellular Field(girl called it Comensky Field). Scott saw they were frauds and they admitted they were Cubs fans and one of them was also a BoSox fan. He said that was okay and it was for the whole Chicagoland area. They started naming off suburbs like Wilmette, and they said, "Even for Schaumburg?" and he paused for a second and said, "No, not Schaumburg."

Well that sucked.

I can't believe I actually wasted my time watching SNL. That's the first time I watched that s*** in years, maybe decades.

I feel bad for scott for having to sit through that whole show.

The concept and punchline seem amusing in text. But it wouldn't surprise me at all if the current incarnation of SNL botched the delivery.

Seems that its only good when a politician hosts it (Gore, McCain, Sharpton).

Guys, aside from all your demeaning talk about women, this thread is SO GAY!

And I mean that in a nice way. :D

I know it must have sucked, but is there a way to see this skit?

I remember when SNL used to be funny. Now you feel sorry for the people on the show it is so not funny. All the material they could have ued from the White House this week and the best they can do is Cheney not smelling smoke in a buring room. Very Lame!

I'd wait an hour to sit next to Amy Poehler

But Pods has a hot soon-to-be wife ... and besides he only sat next to Tina Fey and her pregnancy weight, not Amy Poehler.

Not if you have Lisa Dergen waiting at home.

Horrible, horrible show.

How many years has it been since it was remotely funny anyways?

And does anyone remember Amy when she used to do characters on Conan?

Anybody else wonder if SNL is reached a point where it is so not funny that it merits consideration for cancellation. I do not think it will ever be cancelled, but it is so sad. No real talent is willing to host the show because it is so not funny. There is no talent on the show. I just wonder who writes that crap??

The biggest problem that I have with SNL is that it relies too much on the guest host to be funny. The guest host doesn't need to be in every skit. Put them in 3 or 4 throughout the show. Most of them are so stiff it's not even funny.

Another problem I have is that nobody can seem to memorize their lines. Isn't memorizing lines one of their job requirements? It's pathetic that they show up on national tv and so obiously read every line from cue cards.

That said, I hardly ever watch.
