Christmas plans

Featured Replies

So what is everyone else doing for Christmas? For me the family gets packed up and takes the 3.5 mile trek to the inlaws.

My family gets together at my sister's house on Saturday night, and my in-laws come to my house on Sunday night.

Hoping for a smooth, hassle-free holiday weekend this time. I got a good feeling about this one....

WORK~! on Saturday.

Family over on Sunday.

Christmas day at my grandma's every year.

same old family stuff.

going to my dad's side tonight

mom's side xmas day.

then going up to canada next week to celebrate w/ my gf's family.

Eve at our house - Day at the hospital with Joey.

Going to my cousin's house tomorrow for Christmas Eve.Staying home Christmas Day.

Because of the last week or so, we are spending Christmas Eve with his mom and then Christmas day his family at his cousin's house. My mom is a little miffed that we won't be with them this Christmas, but there is nothing I can do about that.

Well, this weekend I will be working on the house Saturday and Sunday. Sunday painting the kitchen and dining room then sunday putting up new walls in the basement and making a fintess room and tool shed.

But for my christmas, the family goes to church on the 6th and then we have the whole family come over on the 7th all day.

Xmas eve a small dinner with the folks and sis. Xmas a big get together at my aunts. After that, all my buddies go over to my friends house and hang out Christmas night (usually we get in a basketball or football game).

Yep.

Christmas Eve i'm going with to my girlfriend's aunt's house to celebrate with her family. I hope at some point to make it over for the party for my dad's side of the family.

Christmas day with my mom's side of the family. I'm real excited this year because we always have this "christmas contest." This year's game is based around the white sox.

But yeah, i'm still trying to figure out the plans with the girlfriend for this weekend. The whole visiting both families thing on the same day makes me feel like i'm an old married man already.

We always do Christmas Eve at my folks.

Midnight Mass

Then it's the wife's family on Christmas. Her sister's new house in Naperville.

Nothing special on Christmas eve..going over to my mothers house for dinner...On Christmas day everybody is coming over to my house for the day to eat and be jolly...

Although I'm not cooking..and they're all grateful...

Going to my uncle's house in Detroit tomorrow night for Christmas Eve. It is going to be a total disaster. My grandfather just died in November and my grandmother is in an alzheimers ward and she doesn't know who I am. My whole family is fighting and yet we are still going up there into the mess just because it is a tradition. I'm also probably going to be driving home during the Bears game Sunday so I won't even be able to watch the division clinching game. Other than that, it should be a great Christmas! Merry friggen Christmas. :santabye

But actually I'm still in high spirits. I just like to stay out of all that stupid family drama.

Went to my girlfriends parents house in Findlay, Ohio. :puke
