Nippert, IIRC, is one of 'Zona's top pitching prospects. I think he had shoulder surgery recently.

 

EDIT: Actually, I don't know if it was shoulder surgery. But I'm pretty sure it was some type of surgery.

Dustin Nippert was rated the D-Backs 5th best prospect in their system by Baseball America. He was also rated the 67th best prospect in baseball by BA. He's a power pitcher with a good fastball.
