April 2, 200619 yr Is the raising of the banner and all the pre game fun going to be on TV. if so what channel and what time? Thank You
April 2, 200619 yr ESPN is so lame. Instead of me getting the game on ESPN HD they have womens basketball final 4 on the main station and since I don't have ESPN HD 2 (and most cable providers don't have that) I'm stuck having to not get that game in High Def. Its pretty simple ESPN. Baseball >>>> ratings than womens basketball. SO why are you so stupid that you put the baseball game on ESPN 2 instead of your main station (especially since it hoses anyone that has cable and wants to watch the game in high def).

If it were the Yankees or Red Sox, they'd be on ESPN HD.
April 2, 200619 yr First pitch = Ryan Delvin - what a story. He gave up his world series tickets to take stuff down to La. for Hurricane Katrina relief. The Sox have given him tickets for the year and he threw out the first pitch. That's pretty cool.
April 3, 200619 yr BRUTAL TV Coverage...didnt show the video, Pat kept talking...just AWEFUL n Comcast's part

April 3, 200619 yr QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Apr 2, 2006 -> 06:01 PM) BRUTAL TV Coverage...didnt show the video, Pat kept talking...just AWEFUL n Comcast's part Yeah that was about as disapointing as it could be. I know the moment was cool, but that coverage was real bad.
April 3, 200619 yr We waited all our lives for that, just to have Comcast disrespect us like that?! What the heck? The audio was muted, couldn't hear the crowd, and the video was on widescreen, it was all messed up. I had been looking forward to that; Comcast has ALWAYS been aweful! Oh well, Go Sox! April 3, 200619 yr QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Apr 2, 2006 -> 09:45 PM) I did not like "dont stop believing" as the intro music. that annoyed me. Yeah I agree not the greatest intro music.
April 3, 200619 yr I think there pushing that song to much.. It was last year, mediocre song, just.. no reason for it to be here now. Time to get thunderstruck playing, and start going again. New year

April 3, 200619 yr I was at the game and taped the banner video off of the screen...I haven't watched it yet so I don't know if it's good, but I can upload it to youtube or something tomorrow if anyone wants to see it.
April 3, 200619 yr It could be worse, you could have ESPN2 knocked out in champaign from the 3rd batter of the game, and still be out. But luckily we found the only place in champaign that still had espn2 going. Also luckily we didn't get nailed by a tornado.
