totally agree on the Gload thing.  i believe ozzie and kw just don't like him for some reason.

once again sox fans practice the art of selective reading and jumping to conclusions. im not b****ing but asking a question and stating some insights.  i asked if it was the start, a.k.a. a warning sign.  depth is one thing but as i said, i see cintron there to take iguchi's job.  i see iguchi seeing this too.  it just looks like they're trying to put one over on mr tadahito. i did say that he's not stupid.  all he said was no comment and ozzie went off.  what's gonna happen later in the year if we're 5 games down?  did i say ozzies move was wrong? do yourself a favor and put that 6th grade education to use and read.  i think anyone in iguchi's position can see what the sox are doing.  for the most "honest" organization out there (kw and ozzie's words) looks like it's a shady move.

 

 

 

 

Is this the start of ozzie losing his players?  Iguchi isn't stupid.  He just doesn't speak english.  He can see that Cintron is there to take his job.  Funny thing is that he has done nothing to lose it.  Ozzie once again has taken the first shot at someone (see the arod saga).  I think Ozzie is gonna buckle under the pressure. He almost did last year during the Indians big run, he admitted that.  The pressure this year dwarves any pressure put on the southside team.  There just seems to be too much going on with the team and we arent even one week into the season.

Hey its baseball and its a hustle sport...if this lights a fire under players' asses to get the bat swinging and get it going asap! Then so be it...if I have learned anything about Ozzie he doesnt give a f*** if you, I, the papers, Tadihito, or what Cintron think! He hates to be asked questions about his authority about his team(kinda like a wife naggin) and he is just gonna tell you like it is...Of course the reporter is trying to start trouble...sound familiar they did it all last season...no need to stop now...Go Sox, Go Ozzie! Some people use strong comments to motivate, and Ozzie seems to know his players better than some dumb reporter. Relax its been 3 games...lots of pressure on everyone and the media is going to try to ignite any callapse/hate/wars. Happens every season. It comes with winning the WS.

Ozzie is officially on my s*** list now (He'll be on and off all season). He's started the year off on the wrong foot by a) not putting his foot in his mouth and B) making irrational decisions about the lineup and bullpen.

 

I won't rehash them--I think we all know what I'm referring to--but the Oz needs to realize spring training doesn't mean squat, and that those stats should be thrown out the window when he's making decisions.

So many people are expecting us to go at least 4-2 in our next 6 games. We face some pitchers that we've struggled against in the past. If we were to go 2-4 in the next 6 games, this place is going to be crazy. I honestly think that we just made it look so easy last year, in regards to jumping out to a huge lead. I don't even mind if we lose these early games, as long as we see good stuff by our pitchers and a solid approach by our hitters (as well as rational decisions by our manager).

Yeah Ozzie did really good last year of "putting his foot in his mouth".... or wait lets see last year I remember several incidents of calling Magglio a Venezuelan ***** and calling Frank out even b4 he played his 1st. I remember last year everyone complaining about his lineups and his bullpen management. But your right he should change everything this season because it obviously didnt work last one.

LOL. Obviously I have Washburn on the mind.

Some times Ozzie is just not very good at being a politician. Hes probably frustrated with the way the team has been playing and is a little more quick to react when he hears something from a reporter.

 

But in my opinion Ozzie needs to start thinking before he speaks. If a player is benched and the worst thing he says is "No comment" you just let that slide, or you stick up for the player. Im not sure why Ozzie just didnt say:

 

"Hey its hard being a player and being told by your coach your going to sit. I didnt like it as a player, and Im sure none of my players are here to sit on the bench. If anything Im glad that my players have the desire and want to be out there every day."

 

Not to mention hes been screwing with Iguchi for almost a season now and the guy has done nothing but play every day and do what hes told. Also Iguchi had a limited ST because for much of it he was in the 7th spot and now is back in the 2 hole so he may feel he needs the AB's to get where he wants to be.
