May 1, 200619 yr Does anyone know, or is anyone willing to calculate, the White Sox record this season in each of their three different jerseys? We've been wearing the black alternate jersey almost exclusively, and I think it's got a damn good record. It's not that I think the uniform has any affect on the outcome of the game, but I thought it would be fun to keep track of for the rest of the year. They'll be debuting a throwback jersey on Sunday's later this year. (currently they're undefeated on Sunday, and I think they've won 8 or more in a row on that day)

May 1, 200619 yr Who cares about the record for each jersey no matter what jersey is worn the player is still representing the white sox. I think its dumb to be superstitous about what type of jersey is worn.
May 1, 200619 yr QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) I think its dumb to be superstitous about what type of jersey is worn. I don't.
May 1, 200619 yr Keep in mind...grey is only worn on the road, white only at home...and there's a good chance we'll be a better home team than road team...so while i think it's cool to look at, you have to keep that in mind. It's not just "we suck in grey," it's that those games are all on the road, to start.

May 1, 200619 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:32 PM) Our last victory in gray was in Houston.... Fitting, with our road record last year (best in the bigs). 52-29 in the regular season, and 6-0 in the playoffs.

May 1, 200619 yr dear lord, thats some in depth stuff for a fan to notice. but if youre thinkin the luck lays with in a certain jersey, geesh. j/k. its all talent Edited May 1, 200619 yr by Dan
May 2, 200619 yr QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ May 1, 2006 -> 09:31 PM) Yeesh. That throwback jersey this year is butt-ugly. What year is it?
May 2, 200619 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 1, 2006 -> 04:54 PM) White: 9-2 Gray : 0-3 Black: 8-2 I knew there was a reason I didn't like the gray jerseys. I say dump 'em.
May 2, 200619 yr QUOTE(DABearSoX @ May 1, 2006 -> 11:01 PM) What year is it? I'm pretty sure it's from 1906. 100 year anniversary of the hitless wonders.
May 6, 200619 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 6, 2006 -> 12:23 AM) # of Subs Record 0 9-0 1 4-3 2 6-1 3 1-5 And you know that had nothing to do with anything tonight.
May 6, 200619 yr Author QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 5, 2006 -> 11:28 PM) And you know that had nothing to do with anything tonight. It was a 1-run loss that sure quacked like a duck.
May 6, 200619 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 6, 2006 -> 12:41 AM) It was a 1-run loss that sure quacked like a duck. And we were up 2-1 going into the top of the 9th. I agree with you a lot, but I can't on this one.
May 6, 200619 yr Author QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 5, 2006 -> 11:43 PM) And we were up 2-1 going into the top of the 9th. I agree with you a lot, but I can't on this one. Just by playing his best defense tonight, we should have gone to the 9th up 2-0. That ball Gload couldn't get to is probably an out with Mack in right, and definitely an out if JD was healthy (and no I'm not blaming Ozzie for not playing JD) Using our best defense with Garland on the mound should be imperative. He's the Sox pitcher who relies most on his defense, and I don't think he's seen a solid defense behind him yet in his first 6 starts.
May 6, 200619 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 1, 2006 -> 03:26 PM) I don't. Right. Notice how many times you saw the sleeveless jerseys after ALCS Game 1, which, OT, I really like. And I have a road gray on order, so...any way you slice it we have one of the best wardrobes in the game. Edited May 6, 200619 yr by Drew
