Where did I ever state that I had superior knowledge to Ozzie? He won a World Series I didn't. Am I not allowed to voice my opinion? I just said I don't like how he is OBSESSED with the lefty lefty matchup.

In some cases it's good to go with the lefty against the lefty. However, in this scenario with the one run game, I STRONGLY feel that it is the closer's game to lose. Therefore you put the ball in your closers hands and you let him get the three outs.

 

Jenks did have three outs with only ONE man on first base.  And he FAILED not Ozzie.

 

As for the personal attack calling me a whiner, that's fine. I don't really care what you have to say about me, but I will not lower myself to your level.

 

If I sounded harsh, I apologize.

Not being able to stop the bleeding in the 9th killed us. Unbelievable.

Mack has been dreadful this year.

If it is any consolation, this is the only game so far this year that has left me with a pretty awful taste in my mouth. This was one of those games that you had penciled in as a W into the 9th and then it fell apart.

 

Closers blow it, boy. It happens to the best of em', just look at Wagner and Lidge this year.

 

Like I said, this was the only game so far this season that I turned off saying this should have been a W.

 

Let's get 8 strong from Vazquez tomorrow.

That is by far the worst loss of the year.

The Royals to the Sox are like the Devil Rays to the Yankees. Lots of losses to really bad teams.

I felt pretty crappy after the Ozuna in left field experience but this has to be worse.

Man that does sting when pitches give up 4 runs in the 9th. Embarasing to lose to a team like KC.
