Nobody would have expected Ozuna to be successful in his attempt to get back.  But, you have to try and force them to actually make the play.

:gosox1: this is basic elementary fundamental baseball...ty YASNY for having my back and proving the point.

Good job Thornton. I wonder if Ozzie is saving Cotts for a potentially closing outing if we get a lead?

It seems obvious that Matt is the new LOOGY.

Get this out Bmac and lets see what we can do against Elmer Fudd in the pen.

I cant believe we are still suseptable to the soft tosser.

Widger should have been able to keep that in front of him.

Uh-oh.

C'mon, Mac, regroup and get this guy.

HE GAWN

FILTHY

NARSTYYYYY

NICE!

He Gawn!!!!

DISGUSTING pitch

HE GONE!!!!

Great pitch!! 1-2-3 coming up here for the Sox.

Bmac comes back with the K. That 2nd changeup he threw that moved back over the plate was nasty as hell. It ran in like a screwball. Then he puts the guy down with the big hook.

Ozuna was being lazy, he is a big time big leaguer so he thinks balls out play isn't always needed. A ton of guys would have done what he did, its not much to get on him about. More accurate I think is if he did sprint back to third it would be something to commend him about. Although it is sad that we think players are going above and beyond just by hustling.

BTW...even though McCarthy has struggled recently, I like seeing Ozzie using Cliff more in the 7th inning, and McCarthy later in the game.

our bullpen needs some roles. Someone needs to emerge as the 8th inning guy.

Brandon will be fine, I can't say the same for Cliff.
