Two of my horses are playing tomorrow and Italy (one of my horses) could really help my main horse out (US) by picking up a win.

 

Of course US still needs to take care of things themselves. My 3rd horse (the Doitch, ie Dutch) will be moving on and ready and willing to beat up on the Portugese.

So it looks like if we qualify, we'll probably be playing Italy or the Czech Republic in the next round, and you guys would be playing Brazil.

when using those numbers its the formation, the first number being the defense, then moving forward. For example, alot of teams will play a 4-4-2. 4 defense 4 midfield 2 strikers.

Put more men forward on offense for a better shot at a goal.

4-5-1=four defenders, five midfielders (including one primarily defensive mid) and one up front -- a very conservative, defensive formation.

 

3-5-2= one more man up front -- more chances to score.

We don't even bother trying to control the ball when we are in their box. We s*** the bed immediatly and take a shot. We can atleast try to open up something.

Cosign. Arena is acting like a draw gets the US through.

There is an example on why the US has no clue on how to play WC football. When you get a counter or a mismatched attack, you drive towards the goal. You do not use a back pass, and wait for you to setup. You drive into the box and make something happen. These are our supposed playmakers dropping back passes.

Basically if you ever played for DC United, you have a shot at making the US roster with Arena on the team.
