Make that 2 in a row against the best team in baseball!

Great job by Count and the Sox tonight; they just kept answering back!

Let's go for the juggular and get back into 1st tomorrow!

:gosox3: :gosox2: :gosox3:

Another nice save by Bobby as well. :cheers :cheers :cheers :cheers

I am in awe of Bobby Jenks.

Jenks seems to have come around.

Offense and bullpen hold it together to get Jose the much deserved win.

Hell of a tough outing for Jose but he got through it. His longest outing of the year.

Alex, Jim, Jermaine, nice work.

And someone punch Crede in the face.

Crede and Cora owe Mrs. Uribe some flowers.

Jermaine!!! :headbang

Jose!!! :headbang

Jim!!! :headbang

Bobby!!! :headbang

Awesome win despite the error by Crede!

Pressure is off somewhat for tomorrow, but let's sweep them, take over first, and make a statement!

Go Sox

Another huge win. Tomorrow we can go for the sweep.

Great win all around. A few miscues today, but they worked over them. HELL YES!! Time for the sweep baby!!

:gosox1: :gosox1: :headbang :headbang

Great game and huge win!!!

Now sweep these b****es out of town and put them where they belong!!!

:gosox1:

Actually an impressive job by the pen tonight, and umm, the Tigers are not playing well under pressure. Let's hope that continues.

I luuuv winning close games.

Joe, that throw sucked, but it's cool because in the very next inning there was a slight siting of the Rally Crede. Yep, the Rally Crede definitely f***ed Alexis Gomez up.

someone needs to update the standings on the front page. ;)

Im disgusted by the lack of timely updates. :P

The Sox take it to the Tigers prized prospect once again. Verlander still pitched well, but Jose pretty much matched him inning for inning. Jenks was awesome once again, Neal Cotts looked really good in his outing, Thome jacked one, it was a pretty good night at the cell all things considered. the sox look like they are picking up a little swagger again.

I ought to ban you.... :D

Can you believe it? It's possible to win a game with Makowiak in CF.

Big win, get the sweep tomorrow, the Tiger team will never be the same after this series.

Bobby Jenks is scary good right now.

Have the last two games reminded anyone of a certain season? I believe it was 2005. :)

This is what I've been saying. Uribe has to be out for Cintron for at least a little while. Good things happen.

1/2 game out!

Awesome pitching again tonight. Contreras looked tough when it mattered most, as did Montero, Cotts, and Jenks.

EAT IT MAGGS!!!!

GOOOOO SOX! GREAT EFFORT...CINTRON IS GETTING IT DONE! THOME IS A BEAST...DYE IS AN ALLSTAR! CREDE...REDEMPTION! DA COUNT IZ DA MAN! SWEEP OUT THIS DIRTY DETROIT TRASH TOMORROW BOYZ!!!!!

And someone punch Crede in the face.

Yeah, punch him in the face for showing some balls and immediately

getting on base after making a rare error and scoring the eventual winning

run and letting Jose still get the win. Crede is a stud. I'm impressed he

came right back and got on base instead of popping up. That is the sign of

a gamer. He's not perfect ... shoot him.

7 errors is not rare.

That I can believe. What I can't believe is that they can win when Montero gets in the game. He looked real good.

Don't forget JD's contribution. :cheers

Going right now to vote for him for the All-Star team, 25 times.

:cheers to the fans at the game for realizing this is an important series and not starting the wave.
