Doesn't matter if its Kansas s***ty we beat, I always get pumped up over a White Sox Winner.

Brian won't win the Gold Glove. He's the best defender, but it seems like those awards are all about flashy highlight plays and offense. Brain makes a few highlight plays, but his bat isn't good enough to win it. I know that shouldn't be the case, but it is.

A. Their pitching to fall apart (Not very often do 5 starters and most of a bullpen all have great seasons, plus rookies in Verlander and Zumaya are bound to hit a wall).

 

B. 10 head to head games in July and August.

 

Either way, it won't be much longer.

Some more good news I'd say? We've given Big Jim 2 days of rest, and it hasn't cost us one iota. And after tomorrow, we only have 6 more games at NL parks until October, and those games are against the bottom dwellers in the NL Central.

The bottom dwellers of the entire MLB the only team worse than the Pirates and Cubs is the Royals. There's only 2 teams in baseball with a win% in the .300's and we just happen to face both of them to finish up interleague play for the year.

Of course, a lot of this win can be attributed to Rally Crede and Rally Mojo.

That was a hella fun game to watch.
