BA has been hitting the ball incredibly hard the past few days including today.

 

Hopefully Mac is in LF tomorrow with Pods riding the pine pony.

 

Why. He's hitting the ball well. Especially against righties.

Pods is hitting .350 in his last 50 ABs. He's heating up. No need to cool him down. He defense isn't good, but I'd rather have Pods and Mack and their great averages against righties. Defense won't be the best, but the bottom of that lineup would be much, much better.

The defense could very well lose the game for us tomorrow if Mac and Pods are out there. Pods' performance today has earned him a day off tomorrow.

It's amazing some people can't see this.

Now that's some analysis people.

Seems so much easier when you are ahead of the hitters.

When you're leading the world in runs you can have a defensive stud like Brian in there. I'd rather not see Mack in center for a while.

 

Eh. I definitely see the argument for both, but we have no leadoff hitter when BA is in Center and Mack is in left. Just really tough to have a .170 hitter in our lineup in the NL.

Not recently, what have you done for me lately? BA is one of the best out in CF, it's pretty retarded to bench him right now especially when he's absolutely killing the ball like he is now.

He has missed the cutoff man a couple times....name me a MLB outfilder that hasn't. As for as fielding mistakes....His only flaw is letting anyone else catch the ball if he is in the vicinity.

I agree. I'm just saying that BA isn't like a "perfect" centerfielder, which he pretty much has to be as bad as he is at the plate.

 

Pods is bad in left. There is no debating that.

...especially when he's absolutely killing the ball like he is now.

I'll admit he's looked better in recent games but I don't know if I agree with that assessment.
