July 26, 200619 yr On Zigic Soxfan1, I couldn't see him going to team that has just been relegated to the CCC in Birmingham City, instead of a Premier League Side like Portsmouth. West Ham were very close to signing him during the mid - season transfer window actually but we ended up with Dean Ashton. Needless to say I'm happy with that decision.

You should be, Ashton is one helluva striker. But Zigic needs to get the heck out of Crvena Zvevda. Their my team and all, but he isn't going to amount to anything internationally. In Serbia, he is already a star and deservedly so. If he stays in Zvezda, he'll become a Serbian legend but will leave people wondering what kind of legacy he could have had if he left. You'll see how well Vidic will do at Man United in his 1st full season, it'll do him wonders. Zigic needs to do the same. With his talent, it's a win-win situation. Apparently, he's loved Liverpool his whole life, so perhaps being there will make him more motivated to stay out of trouble. July 31, 200619 yr Kind of off topic. I recently started playing this online soccer management game. It's not trying to immitate real life, the players are all fictional and there are weird features to it. Basically, it is its own game with soccer as the general appearance of the game (the transfer system is weird, etc.). Anyway, there is an option to create a private league for free (joining is also free). I was thinking if we could get enough interest maybe we could set one up for Soxtalk.
