Some very strange managing this last inning by Ozzie. I can't believe he left Contreras in to possibly get the loss.

BUt I thought all he cared about was pitcher's individual stats?

If that was true he wouldn't have kept him in with the big winning streak he has going.

He left him in because he was at 98 pitches and pitching really well.

It was not an easy 98. He labored through quite a few innings.

Dye needs to stop dogging it down the first base line.

:rolly

Just hit a grounder to Uribe, Jorge.

DAMN BLOOPERS> This is ridiculous.

No, I know exactly what you mean. I have no problem with him leaving Contreras in. It just seems to go against the way he was handling his streak. The whole Ozuna/Pods situation makes more sense now, with Crede being out.

You disagree?

f***. Matt Thornton kicks ass but gets screwed.

Edited by Kalapse

Crap on that. Why the hell did he leave Jose in for one batter. Now Jose might get a bad break and not have any control over it.

I'm not sure why I read any of your posts to be honest.

Push it. :D

CBS has Crede still at third. no? Pablo in for Joe? That might explain the change for Pods in left after the AB but why is Joe out in a tied ball game? I don't get that move at all.

Unless.... they are shoping Pablo for trade material.

Good call ump! You're on a roll!

It is interesting that THornton is the first person out of the pen now. Don't blow his streak on walks Matt.

This does not look like it will end well

It's not dogging it, it's called running in quick sand.
