I've been away most of the day, so will someone fill me in: is there some major trade rumor about Mac?

Earlier today it was reported taht Mac was on his way to the Nats for Soriano but that rumor has cooled down a bit. Kurkijian originally reported it and since than Kenny has said he will not be dealing any of his major league starters and that he has told Brandon that he won't be going anywhere.

 

However, the Sox are quite interested in Soriano.

I agree. Ever since he took over for Rowand, I've put everyting I've got behind him, and its great to see him do well. There's something about him that just makes him incredibly likeable.

Scotty did a nice job dragging that bunt all the way towards the 2nd baseman and now Tad needs to come through here.

 

BA really is looking more comfortable at the plate and Ozz's patience has paid off.
