Just got in and saw the bottom of the 6th. Where has the problem been tonight/ Freddy looked OK.

The problem has been Freddy throwing batting practice fastballs and all of his pitches have been very hittable, despite a good past couple of innings.

 

And, of course, we've gotten almost no timely hitting.

We're dead meat. I am out. Prove me wrong, sox.

Does anyone know anything about the minor league catcher the Sox have, Lucy? I saw him in Spring Training, and he has an unbelievable arm.

Highly touted player when we drafted him out of Stanford. Great athlete, very raw and he supposedly calls a great game. The pitchers we've interviewed at FutureSox have all raved about Lucy's game calling ability and well defensive prowess.

 

OFfensively he's still building his game and he had some troubles early in his minor league career but he's done better as of late. Still he's a few years away from the show, but the upside is definately there as he's a top notch athlete.

Sure...his only years in baseball when he's been good was pitching in Montreal, and their huge stadium.

How? How can you say that? Gload rarely takes a walk, something Paulie can atleast do when he is struggling. Gload is not a very good hitter.

Thanks, I'm going to keep my eye on him. I just saw him when they were taking infield and it was one of the most impressive throwing performances I've ever seen.
