Sandy with the RBI base hit.

SANDY!!! Thank you Sonik for the Rally Sandy.

Big base hit by Alomar, good fundamental baseball.

SANDY ALOMAR!

Sandy hasn't been that bad since coming over, he's doing well in fact.

keep it goin ross

That a boy Sandy! Against a lefty, I actually have confidence he'll be able to find a hole in the outfield.

Let's not go overboard here. There's only 2 players in today's lineup with an OPS over .800 for the month of July (Teahen and Grudz). It's a terrible lineup.

I'm not saying we're playing the Red Sox or anything, but the Royals can hit, and it's a hot night with the ball flying, so that was nice for Mark.

BIG insurance run on a big 2 out hit and RBI by Sandy, RBI single and double for him tonight. Sandy hitting like it's 1995 again.

Sandy is back b****es.

SANDY ALOMAR!

SANDY ALOMAR!

The power....

Its the prayers and the vitamins, brother.

I just put on the Cubs game, and much to my surprise, I saw Luis Vizcaino throw a slider.

Liriano and elbow problems have been my wish since the end of june

4-2 into the bottom of 8, Sox absolutely need to hang onto this one. They've actually played good baseball tonite, they seem to be clicking for the most part.

I'd be more surprised if it didn't land in the lake.

God, this has been a good gamethread.

Thornton in, as it should be.

The biggest Hulk Hogan moment for the Sox was Buehrle's 1st inning in Minnesota when he gave up 7 runs. They kept pounding him but at the end of the inning he stood up with his eyes wide open and you knew he couldn't lose.

gosh darn em up, Thorton
