I got a laugh out of DJ saying how our first two batters hit the ball hard this inning.

With him losing his only talent which is speed, he will go from world series hero to 4th OF in say 2 years.

 

I would have liked to have seen it happed last week. On another note, why can't Jerry Owens be good?

For as good as Hawk/DJ have been recently, they've been real bad today. Hawk's been slupring this team more than usual today (Cooper, Pods).

By real, I mean with a leadoff guy that can get on base. Seriously, think of how many MORE runs scored we'd have if Podsednik had an OBP of around .400 (hell, even .375) like a good leadoff guy.
