I still think it was the right call.

Eh, could have gone either way, but I think I'd rather have the more powerful guy in there in Uribe, just in case he connected. Especially since Ozzie's PH made the Twins take the pitcher who was struggling out of the game.

Instead of trying to go to right field Cintron tries to hit one out of the park and..... pops up foul to Morneau for the 100 time this game

And yet, even he has had a few instances this year where he didn't hustle, and both times it hurt the Sox.

The instances where he hustled greatly outnumber the instances where he didn't.

Shoot...I'd have just let uribe hit....Rincon was off today and they probably let him pitch to Uribe...I doubt they'd bring in this guy (lefty). Had they brought in Nathan, then we could have pinched for Uribe.

Yippeee...Cotts is in...After a main course meal of Javy...its time for the Cotts desert.

Sorry, the entire team minus Thome and Mackowiak.

When your "speed" hitter is your laziest player running the bases, you have a problem.

here comes give it back cotts... He will give up at least run this inning

Man, I have zero confidence in Cotts anymore.

Of course, I don't have any real issues with his hustle. However, as someone said about that on this site, considering he's involved in 4 or 5 plays the entire game, he better be hustling.

Imo it wasnt, when was the last time Cintron hit RH? Not to mention Ricon was getting lit up. And Oz had to know Reyes was going to come in if he PH a LH there. BAd decision by OZ

Dont forget Pablo. Unlike twinkle toes he hustles after balls hit down the left field line.

Great effort by Iguchi.

13 for last 19 are lefties vs Cotts now.

f**kin cheap hit

this guy is gonna end up scoring

He will be PH for next inning.

here comes a walk

I kinda like Cotts in this situation. I understand it's easy to give up on Cotts, but you cant. Ozzie is giving him every chance to get back on track, and with Nathan coming up, this is good time to give Cotts a semi-important inning.

Oh, I certainly want him given some chances, and this is a good one considering he actually gets to start the inning (he seems to have most of his trouble with inherited runners). I just get a sinking feeling every time he comes into a game.

I know we can't use Thornton and MacDougal everyday.

His AB hasn't come up again. He'll be pulled for AJ in the ninth.

Ha, I spoke too soon.

what did I say give it back Cotts

Good job Ozzie....way to show no urgency again when we're down a few runs. Neal Cotts is the worst pitcher on this team!

Wow...Just wow. Cotts sucks
