Was there even a delay? I left for class around noon and just got back now.

Short one.

Wow, awesome outing for Jon. I'd probably go to Cotts for the 9th considering we have this one wrapped up. That or Bmac.

I figure both could use the work.

I would have to call this a "statement" game

Did JD get hurt?

I'd like to know, too, why'd they pull him out?

After I got past the creepiness of Milo Hamilton, I've emjoyed the Astros broadcasts, but they are my ":home team".

Yeah but we're talking about P.A. guys. The Astros P.A. guy at the ballpark is annoying as hell.

I would have to call this a "statement" game

I can't say its a statement game, but its a very nice way to finish off the series. The only statement this team needs to make is the one that they can consistently pitch and until they do that, they will find themselves having trouble going on any type of prolong sweep that could really distance themselves from the wild card pack and maybe get themselves in position to give the Tigers a run at the division.

A statement would be a sweep of the Twins this weekend led by 3 straight quality starts from our rotation.

Let the bullpen finish this one off.

I will say however I always have been suspecious of Thome, but other than him I don't know who the hell on our team would be a juicer, unless your just going to say Dye since he's having a career year, which is blind speculation.

Wow, what a play by Infante.

I can't see Thome saucing. I get the impression he would feel like it would be a rude thing to do or something. Jim is just country strong!!

Did Dye get hurt?

I wouldn't say Sheffield is more obvious, but Giambi may be. Not many people lose a whole bunch of weight the offseason in which a steroid policy is put in place, like Giambi and I-Rod.

Giambi probably juiced but he's still putting up MVP numbers. I-Rod hits like Joey Cora.

J.D. and Crede both came out for some rest btw.

Giambi and his HGH are great.

I think it's pretty obvious.

Did Dye get hurt?

No, just resting.

Oh, in that case, you are right. But I really hate the juice box. Almost everything about it.

An hr delay.

So when did this game start?

Hawk and D.J. inexplicably -- and repeatedly -- referring to Mike MacDougal as "McDonald".

Bret Boone, obvious juicer...

hopefully we saved some runs for minny, perhaps we can stick with this lineup for a few days...oh wait, we need to change the lineup drastically every day so guys can't get a rhythm going.

It's 10-0..

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 03:00 PM)
So when did this game start?

About 1. VERY fast game, especially with 10 runs being scored.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Aug 24, 2006 -> 01:00 PM)
So when did this game start?

Right about 11 my time or 1 central time.

98 pitches so far. I'd leave him in. Give him the SHO

Maybe he has a farm. :ph34r:

It's not obvious to those of us at work and not watching the game. Usually when a player starts a game, he doesn't get pulled out.
