After I got past the creepiness of Milo Hamilton, I've emjoyed the Astros broadcasts, but they are my ":home team".

 

Yeah but we're talking about P.A. guys. The Astros P.A. guy at the ballpark is annoying as hell.

I can't say its a statement game, but its a very nice way to finish off the series. The only statement this team needs to make is the one that they can consistently pitch and until they do that, they will find themselves having trouble going on any type of prolong sweep that could really distance themselves from the wild card pack and maybe get themselves in position to give the Tigers a run at the division.

 

A statement would be a sweep of the Twins this weekend led by 3 straight quality starts from our rotation.

Let the bullpen finish this one off.

I will say however I always have been suspecious of Thome, but other than him I don't know who the hell on our team would be a juicer, unless your just going to say Dye since he's having a career year, which is blind speculation.

I can't see Thome saucing. I get the impression he would feel like it would be a rude thing to do or something. Jim is just country strong!!

I wouldn't say Sheffield is more obvious, but Giambi may be. Not many people lose a whole bunch of weight the offseason in which a steroid policy is put in place, like Giambi and I-Rod.

 

Giambi probably juiced but he's still putting up MVP numbers. I-Rod hits like Joey Cora.
