Well 7 runs are usually enough, but with Mr. 88 mph junk baller Freddy Maddux. You need like 16 to be safe.

Thank God we have the experience of a Freddy Maddux coming down the stretch. He knows how to win big games down the stretch for us. Brandon would never pitch with the tenacity and skill that Freddy Maddux throws out there. /sarcasm

Who didn't expect Garza to pitch well? It was inevitable from the moment he was drafted. They know what they're doing over there. If we don't begin producing comparable talent, these next few years won't be pretty.

He pitches well against the national league this year. Against the american league, not so good. I guess the Yankees, Boston, Minny all dont count as big games during the pennant race.
