Let's get 2 of 3 in Oaktown. That would be big.

Was it a solid base hit at least? (I can't see the game)

I hate it when no hitters are broke up with broken bat singles, etc.

Line shot up the middle.

Yah. 3-2 pitch on the outside corner. Good piece of hitting.

not hit hard, but a good piece of hitting....little line drive into center...nobody ever had a shot at catching it....

now that the perfect game is over, i'd love to see Fields get his first AB for Uribe then just bring in Cintron for defense.

It was solid. Nothing anyone could do about it.

SON OF A b****.

Great job Freddy!

That base hit gives the green light for fathom and southsideirish71 to post in this thread now.

It was a solid shot into center field. Freddy hung a curveball and Kennedy waited back on it perfectly. Brian had zero chance to try to make a play.

Great job by Freddy today. Man I wish he would have gotten it... It would have been a great thing to watch and a great trade value booster. Ugh...

I guess this is what the pitchers have to do to keep the bullpen off the field.

Um...I was in this thread earlier today. I'm at work, and have extremely limited internet access. If there's anyone that should never be accused of only posting when the Sox are either winning/losing, it should be me.

Im just glad Mark got "it" back last night, and gave "it" to Freddy for today.

I actually said to my friends who I'm watching the game with: "Adam Kennedy will break this up." That guy is a f***in pest. Anyways, fantastic Freddy, f'n awesome.

Hit for Sweeney...Sweetness

why not let fields hit?????????/

I think Liriano leaving that game with an injury might have given this team a huge spark.
