I'm concerned that next season, there's going to be 3 lefties in our division (Rogers, C.C., and Johan) that we have absolutely no chance against. We have got to add some lefty pitching hitting specialist this offseason.

Ugh. What a mess. Oakland and the Yanks better wreck shop in the playoffs.

Please, let there be a general manager out there willing to trade for Buehrle. I'm not willing to expect him to rebound next season. His stinct is exposed -- swing early against him, because his stuff is weak and he consistently pounds the zone. How exactly do you recover from this?

 

 

I have been thinking this for a while too now. Buehrle can't seem to figure out everybody, even the friggin' CUbs, is swinging first pitch on him. He had a nice run for 5 years. Now, he is Jose Lima.

No. They just suck unfortunately. Picked a really good time to suck. Tho I do think injuries (unknown to us and the media) have taken a SMALL toll on the team. Like you've said before. It'll be interesting to see what comes out. BUt thats just a small part. OVerall they just suck and have sucked for the last month. I don't think they've quit though.

Nah..I'm not going to agree with that. I just think the wheel fell off the magical wagon, players got injured and tired, and we're done. Theres nothing more to it. That doesn't change my opinion of Ozzie however...

Good thing we're leaving Buehrle out there to die. Maybe Ozzie will realize next year that a good way to avoid fatigue is to cut down on an inning or so every few starts.
