He's going to be on the Score too.

Do they stream?

The Score does, at 670thescore.com

I don't know about 1000

Answering my own q... It look like they do.

He is on the score right now. He is gonna be cutting it close with ESPN1000

Well F**K, I tuned in to 1000 based on this advice, and it doesn't sound like KW is coming on at all.

I posted what he said on the Score.

Damn, where is Kenny on ESPN 1000? I have been listening specifically for him.

He's on now

Regarding Crede back surgery-says his agent advised him not to-

Could be they wanted him to have it.

Of course Bora$$ told Joe not to get the surgery. His commission wouldn't be as much then

I agree-the Boras thing looms as much as ever

The surgery issue will justify a trade in their minds

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 2, 2006 -> 10:35 AM)
After listing to it, I have very little faith a deal will get worked out with Joe....

That Boras comment was incredibly telling.

"Is too much made of the Scott Boras situation (Crede's agent)" - Dickerson

"No" - KW

Then to paraphrase, the Sox and Boras have never seen eye to eye on the value of players but to Boras' credit he always seems to find someone out there stupid enough to pay what he's looking for luckily we're not that stupid. It's going to come down to a [dogfight] (can't remember the actual phrase) regarding Crede's contract between us and his agent and in the end I'm not sure there's going to be a winner.

His comment that "Crede's agent sent him to a doctor who advised him not to have the back surgery" was incredibly telling. It's likely that Boras did not want him to have any sort of surgery as not to place a "damaged goods" label on Joe in order to maximize his value in the long run. You can just tell in KW's voice that the Sox wanted Joe to have that surgery but Boras is getting in the way here and advising his client otherwise.

It's really looking like KW is going to look at offers this offseason for Joe.

Damn. This is sad, but you could see the lights of the train coming for miles now... Ah well, we will always have the Rally Crede.

Think the Yanks would take Crede as part of an A-Rod deal and move Uribe to third or let A-Rod play third???????

ASSUMING A-ROD TANKS IN THE PLAYOFFS!

Right now the Bora$$ factor and the back issues have already diminished trade value-even after a career year

7 days a week, and twice on Sunday.

I would rather let A-rod play great defense at SS and let Fields play 3B.

I thought Mr. Crede was quoted as saying that he wouldnt let Bora$$ be an issue with him staying with the sox, and that he made the final decision. Then right after that, he decides to go to the devil's friend for medical advice. Nice.

He did say that, but Boras obviously has a way with talking to his clients. He is an incredible agent...for the players. If the Sox can get something huge for Crede, that move has to be made.

All part of the game... but Boras is not the only one playing. Crede is toeing the line, and will do so until its decision time. KW is, as usual, putting out all sorts of vague, deceptive hints.

I wouldn't believe a word out of KW's mouth when it comes to personnel moves. Unless he is standing next to someone who is putting on a Sox uni at a press conference, his words should be taken with more salt than they put in that kung pao chicken you ate last night.

KW is definitely making a statement and putting the ball in Crede's court.

With Fields waiting in the wings, it seems like the Sox have the leverage on their side.

There probably won't be much done about this until Nov or Dec, so Crede has time to make some decisions.

But even Joe must realize that KW wont go year to year with Bora$$ until we get to FA. Eventually he will be traded, specifically with his value as high as it can be. Its not like KW is going to call Bora$$ or Crede and say, well Joe we need to make a deal or we are going to trade you. He is just going to make a strong overture to sign a long term agreement with Joe, the minute its rejected. He will be signed to a one year deal and then probably will be sent off at that point.

Its sad more so because of the comments from Joe himself. If he just wanted to go year to year and didnt want a long term deal thats one thing, but saying you want one, and then having Satan as your agent who spends his time trying to get his people to FA. He will advise Crede to go year to year to year unless he gets $$$BLOWNS$$$ away.

The difference here, though, is that Fields appears to be ready-nothing to be gained by not playing him now and keeping someone that will not be here very long. With the age of our star players, working in young players one at a time is essential. We have one ready to play.

Yeah it kind of sounded like Crede would be a goner this off-season...Im just wondering what we could get in a package for Crede. Oh well as long as the Bears keep on winning and the Bulls will be good hopefully the off-season goes by fast and Im not worrying about the off-season 24/7.
