I'm very happy we didn't sign him to a 4 or 5 year extension. I was thinking about this over the offseason, but what Buehrle needs right now is to switch to the NL. The AL seems to have a good game plan against him after seeing him for 5 years now.

 

BTW: this has NOTHING to do with the start of this game. Just a thought I've had about Buehrle for a few months now.

Eh... with the way teams are overpaying for average pitchers these days, Buehrle is still going to be pretty wealthy if he isn't with us.
