March 13, 200719 yr I don't have a whole lot of them (ODU and Illinois in the first round, I have Oregon over Maryland in the elite 8, Winthrop, Georgia Tech, etc....) but I have a bad feeling I'm going to regret one of the two games I didn't take, VCU vs. Duke (I saw VCU 3 times, they were bad all 3), and I have a feeling on Oral Roberts/Wazzu. Albany could also be interesting with the game they gave UConn last year in their matchup against Virginia.
March 13, 200719 yr I can't see Illinois over Va Tech. I have ODU, Davidson over Maryland, debating on Ga Tech over UNLV, Nova over Kentucky, VCU over Duke, debating on the Zags and Hoosiers, GW over Vandy, debating on TT over BC, and that's about it.
March 13, 200719 yr The past few years I have gone with a lot of upsets, and I'm not gonna do that this year. I had Michigan St. and Nevada in the elite eight last year, and Iowa in the final four. I will probably pick ODU and Winthrop. I saw a couple of brackets on CBSsportsline that had Davidson in the sweet 16. Doyel had all 11 seeds winning.
March 13, 200719 yr Lets see... UNLV > Wisconsin in the second, Illinois > VT in the first (unlikely, but whatever), Gonzaga > Indiana in the first, TT > BC in the first, Texas > UNC, Stanford > Louisville, Creighton > Nevada. Still debating Texas Tech over Boston College, and will probably pick BC, but whatever.
March 13, 200719 yr QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 09:19 PM) Lets see... Still debating Texas Tech over Boston College, and will probably pick BC, but whatever. Stanford over Louisville seems unlikely given that the game is 70 miles from Louisville, will be heavily attended by Louisville fans and Stanford will be playing at roughly 8:40 am their time (when you figure in the time zones as well as the time change ahead this week).
March 13, 200719 yr Illinois>Va Tech Holy Cross > S. Ill. VCU > Duke Gonzaga > Indiana Ga Tech > UNLV Stanford>Louisville Arkansas>USC Geo. Was.>Vandy Tex Tech>Bos Col.
March 13, 200719 yr ODU to the Sweet 16, Texas Tech to the Sweet 16, Wright State over Pitt are my biggies.
March 13, 200719 yr QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 13, 2007 -> 01:24 AM) Stanford over Louisville seems unlikely given that the game is 70 miles from Louisville, will be heavily attended by Louisville fans and Stanford will be playing at roughly 8:40 am their time (when you figure in the time zones as well as the time change ahead this week). There's going to be a lot of fans from Lexington there, and you better believe they'll be rooting against Lville. Should be an interesting dynamic.
March 13, 200719 yr I initially was going to put Old Dominion through to the sweet 16, but switched it around and got Butler going that far now. Still might change it again though, so it's not really set in stone yet. I got Marquette knocking off MSU in round 1. Didn't want to do it, but I'm basing it on the fact that MSU really had a rather poor year by their standards. Generally they do better then an 8-8 conference record. Count me in on the Albany bandwagon too. Having came close last year with UConn, they've likely learned from that and could be poised to finish the job this time around. Picked them to go to the sweet 16, upsetting Tennessee to get there. I got VCU over Duke as well. As MSU did, Duke had a very un-Duke like year. They play the way they did at times during the season and they will get knocked off early. I got Penn going all the way to the elite eight, knocking off Stanford and Memphis along the way. George Washington I have sweet 16 bound, though I don't know if that would be such a big surprise if it happened. Got Miami Ohio knocking off Oregon as well as Notre Dame, and then the other biggie I got is Kansas falling to Nova in round 2. EDIT: Almost forgot about this but I got Southern Illnois in the final four. That's somewhat of an upset I suppose. Edited March 13, 200719 yr by tigerfan
March 13, 200719 yr QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Mar 13, 2007 -> 01:24 AM) The write in team. Kansas won't have enough time to prepare for them. You act like Bill Self prepares for games anyway. For one of my picks: New Mexico State over Texas

March 13, 200719 yr Illini to the Sweet 16 OD over Butler Oral Rubets over Wash St. George Washington to sweet 16 Geo Tech over UNLV
March 13, 200719 yr VCU (sweet 16) Old Dominion Creighton (sweet 16) Oral Roberts Gonzaga, although that's not much of an upset.

March 15, 200719 yr We're on the verge of going half a day without a single upset...and none of the #1's have played yet.
March 15, 200719 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 15, 2007 -> 04:07 PM) We're on the verge of going half a day without a single upset...and none of the #1's have played yet. It's absolutely no fun when all the top seeds win. For s***s and giggles, let's see a 1 get beat this year.
March 15, 200719 yr It's gonna happen soon. I heard on Mike and Mike that in the last 4 or 5 years, the margin between the 1's and 16's has gradually gone down. It was at like 30 points at one time, last year it was at 14.
March 15, 200719 yr Not only have all the higher seeds won so far, they have all covered too. BOOOOOOO. David is currently is being taken to the shed by Goliath in this tournament.

March 15, 200719 yr Davidson over MD Davidson over Butler (doh) Winthrop over ND Winthrop over Oregon VT over SIU VCU over Duke VCU over Pitt Zags over IU UCLA over Kansas USC over UT GW over Vandy (ouch) TT over BC WSU over Georgetown LBS over Tenn LBS over Virginia Nevada over Memphis A&M over OSU
March 16, 200719 yr My bracket's incredibly average right now. I thought my bracket was a bit too much chalk, but apparently it was not, as I've lost a few games by going against the chalk today.
March 16, 200719 yr Missed just one today. The one year I don't take Duke losing early, they lose early. I'm cursed. Anyway, I got way, way less chalk going tommorrow.
