White Sox vs. A's, 4/11/07 (W)

Featured Replies

Picture blacked out.

An interesting thing happened though -- it blacked out just as Anderson was swinging at a low and away changeup. And it froze with Anderson's shoulders totally flying out over the plate, way ahead of the pitch. Pretty revealing.

What are the right reasons?

Is Brian leading baseball over the last two seasons in least pitches seen per at bat?

WIth those shades on Pods looked like Stephen Colbert

If the 2004 team had any pitching, that would have been a playoff team easily. I'll gladly take back Carlos Lee for Pods, and take my chances with the homer or nothing approach with quality pitching.

PK is so due.

Someone will argue we should have pulled Pods after that play. I knew somehow it would come up.

oh i'm not saying we should pull him. I just what it was funny he's catching it sno cone style.

Crede can make a run for that title.

Tight race between him and AJ.

I dont care what the A's approach is, they did enough "whatever" to take 2/3 from us.

ugh. Reading is fundamental Jimbo. Come on.

AJP laughs at that accusation.

OK, that makes sense. I just was checking to see if you were saying they weren't "Homer or nothing"

C'mon West -- where was that inside strike to Konerko when Buerhle was pitching?

Can't we give some folks a little more than 7 games to determine how they're going to perform for the whole season?

But people so want to compare the team to either 2004 or 2005.

That seems about right.

Konerko lines out to Scutaro. 2 down.

PK with a line drive out to short. swinging at a ball at the ankles.

Man, Konerko sucks right now. Get in the cage Paulie and figure it out.

how about a homer dye...he and uribe are the only chances for rbi's

QUIT SWINGING AT THE LOW AND AWAY PITCH PK!!

For the 10th time already.

How many years in a row are we not going to be able to hit soft-throwing lefties? Is it our hitters? Or is it our hitting coach, who clearly is unable to get through to these guys?

Crede and Konerko look so unconfident at the plate lately.

JD out to Ellis. inning.
