Well, the inning could've been better, but Verlander shouldn't pitch into the 7th at all. Zumaya went 2 yesterday, so is there any chance he pitches today?
I doubt it. Probably Rodney.

Thome is on pace to break the AL record for Walks with 183 (held by Babe Ruth - 170).

I too am enjoying seeing Mack in the lineup lately. His defense is far and away better than Prancer and his bat isn't too shabby either...

I just wish PK and JD would stop looking like s***....

I wonder if Dye or Sheffield will both end up with really subpar years...under 25 homers and under 90 RBI's.

Maybe...

I'm convinced Rabelo and Molina are the same player and they just go back and forth between clubhouses.

Seeing the production with Mackowiak in the lineup, it just reaffirms my infatuation with wanting a platoon of him and Ozuna for LF and leading off. It is seriously our best option for LF.

well, the good news is....at least what I keep telling myself....is I'm glad JD and PK are getting this out of their system now, instead of later in the season.

If Konerko doesn't start hitting better there's no reason to pitch to Thome.

I think they will have to use Mesa or Grilli if the game is tied. Rodney has been looking so bad, I don't think that Leyland trusts him after yesterday's game.

What's Jon's pitch count?

It has to be around 70-75, no more.

Garland has them chasing now. Another good inning.

Mesa's on the DL

Jonny G is mowing em down. Too bad our 'big hitters' didn't come close to hurting Verlander. C'mon boys, get some runs.

I honestly believe Mackowiak is just as fast as Pods now.

Jon looking good, 14 straight batters retired.

Alright, even if you don't score any runs, just put together a few moderately decent at-bats this inning. Let's get to that bullpen as soon as possible.

AJ with a long fly out to right center.

Ugh....need to be patient and make this Verlander's last inning.

Why swing first pitch?

Crede with a line out to Thames. Actually made good contact there.

Because AJ's an idiot when it comes to plate discipline.

Single digit pitch count this inning would be bad!

Very quick inning.

Damn it, he might come back out for the 7th.

So stupid....so stupid. Garland has a tough inning coming up here with top of the order.

I think that inning took a minute and a half.

Could be 3 minutes.

I can't see why he wouldn't.

How about 8 pitches.

I dunno...early in the season, young pitcher, just wouldn't like him to go back out.
