Thome might as well just go straight to first from the dug out.

And then straight back to the dugout after he realizes PK hits behind him.

You f***ing idiot. You honestly can't put a decent at-bat up?

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 01:46 PM)
My thoughts exactly.

Come on Paulie!

Does anyone doubt they would have walked him anyway? Why would they pitch to Thome?

WTF!

Uribe, Ozuna, and Konerko = 3 pitches and 3 outs.

Erstad = 7 pitches and gets on base.

If you are batting that bad, why not take some pitches?

Paulie needs to sit for a day. He's really beating himself up between the ears.

Nice strategy with the bunt Oz.

There's no way that Verlander should've pitched 7 innings today. That is unacceptable.

They wouldn't IBB walk someone into scoring position. If anything, they would have brought in Seay.

My goodness. Aside from yesterday PK is about the best rally killer in the majors.

At least he'll stay rested.

And you still have to play to get the lead on the road. Konerko is supposed to be our best hitter, and he came through yesterday.

Even so, why waste an out? At least give Pablo a chance, or send Erstad running to second.

Mags grounds to Crede. 1 out.

I don't think you take out Verlander for Seay in that situation...Leyland doesn't tend to overmanage like Ozzie in that situation.

Sox giving a great pitched game away (they must think Danks is pitching).

15 LOB with several in scoring position.

Garland walks Guillen. First baserunner since the first, I think

Perfect game after the 1st 4 batters is over. Now he can relax and finish the complete game.

No, you're reading the box score wrong...has to be. You don't add each LOB throughout the order to get it.

Just 7 total for the team actaully. 15 is the total for each player.

I have a couple questions for you. Did you used to have another name on this site? And what does your current one mean?

He wasn't going to give in to Guillen. Intentional unintentional walk.

I doubt he meant to put on the go-ahead run in the 7th inning.

Garland fools Thames.

With Casey's gap swing, we need to prevent the run scoring double here.
