April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 05:16 PM) tell us what he says Talked about how it's nice to go to a winning team, how it felt to slip to the end of the second round. Missed some of it.
April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 05:24 PM) Talked about how it's nice to go to a winning team, how it felt to slip to the end of the second round. Missed some of it. He also said he looks forward to playing with a team that's a SB contender. He said he is willing to help Rex get better and that Chicago is a great situation for him. Said he got the call when the Chargers were still on the clock. Damnit. Then Poz goes to the Bills.
April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 06:02 PM) 2nd rounder (62) 3rd rounder 5th rounder 3rd rounder next year. GREAT trade
April 28, 200718 yr Ugh Thanks Miami, you pass on Brady Quinn and get us a 26 year old Mormon Maybe they can put a retirement plan in his rookie contract
April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 06:05 PM) GREAT trade Essentially they Traded Thomas Jones for all those picks.
April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(Shadows @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 07:09 PM) Ugh Thanks Miami, you pass on Brady Quinn and get us a 26 year old Mormon Maybe they can put a retirement plan in his rookie contract People liked him, but I think Quinn would have been a better pick. However, they did get him in the 2nd round. I would be more pissed at picking Ginn so early. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 07:10 PM) Essentially they Traded Thomas Jones for all those picks. The Bears have 10 picks left, so more than likely they will be moving up at some point.
April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 06:12 PM) People liked him, but I think Quinn would have been a better pick. However, they did get him in the 2nd round. I would be more pissed at picking Ginn so early. Why? Ginn is awesome Miami hasn't had a dynamic player like him, in I cant even remember since when.. I have no problem with taking Ted Ginn, I have a problem with not taking Quinn.. When you see someone you like, you get them.. but we need a franchise QB desperately and we had a shot even if Quinn isn't going to be an elite QB, hes going to be a good QB and we needed that.. I do not like Beck at all, I would have rather had Quinn and Jarrett Edited April 28, 200718 yr by Shadows
April 28, 200718 yr QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Apr 29, 2007 -> 07:08 AM) Anthony Spencer is gonna be a stud, loved watching him while at Purdue. Hopefully he can thrive as that 3-4 pass rushing OLB and become Phillips new version of Shawn Merriman.
April 29, 200718 yr QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 28, 2007 -> 07:26 PM) Hopefully he can thrive as that 3-4 pass rushing OLB and become Phillips new version of Shawn Merriman. Third consecutive year a Fort Wayne guy got drafted. 2005--Trai Essex (Pittsburgh) 2006--Bernard Pollard (KC) 2007--Anthony Spencer (Dallas)
